Good morning, dear friends. Welcome to today’s morning prayer on Saturday, 15th February, during the fifth week in Ordinary Time. Our prayer is brought to us by Elspeth Smith from Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey, Wales. 

Elspeth reflects:
“So this is obviously quite a famous story, often referred to as the feeding of 5000. But obviously in this, version it talks about 4000. I think when I think about it, obviously it seems like an impossible miracle, to have fed all these people from such a small amount of food and perhaps we can get bogged down with thinking about, did it happen exactly like that?”
