Good morning. Welcome to our Oblate Family Morning Prayer on Saturday, January 18th 2025 of the first week of ordinary time. Today we join Pat Hughes in Rock Ferry  to lead us in our time of prayer this morning.

‘I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.’

Pat reflects: ‘When I was reflecting on this reading, I kept coming back to the two parts which called to me. And the first was the fact that Levi heard the words follow me. And he got up, seemingly without any thought, and followed him. And the second point was Jesus sitting, eating with outcasts and people being stoned.’
