Good morning dear friends. You are very welcome to our Oblate Family Morning Prayer. Once again join members of the Oblate Parishes of Denmark for this morning’s prayer. Today, we join Fr Allen Couteau OMI for this morning’s prayer on the Epiphany of the Lord. 

The Gospel of the Lord Epiphany means a manifestation. A manifestation is given of something that is not visibly seen in this case, Jesus as King. But there is no crown. Jesus as ruler. There is no sceptre in different translations. The Magi, which we have in the text here today, is often translated as kings, or even later in time as wise men.
