The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Monday 23rd September 2024 With Fr Reggie
Good morning everyone. Thank you for joining us once again for our Oblate Family Morning Prayer. Today we join Fr Reggie OMI from our mission in Denmark on Monday 23rd September, 25th Week in Ordinary time. Today is the Feast of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina.
Gospel | Luke 8:16-18 ©
Anyone who has will be given more
Fr Reggie reflects: “Jesus used the image of the lamp to describe how the disciples had to live in the light of his truth and love. The light of Christ shines in the hearts of believers and enables us to see the reality of God’s kingdom. We are called to reflect the light, which is Jesus himself, in and through our lives… St Elisabeth of the Trinity, who lived in France in the beginning of the 20th century, teaches us that our lives should bring glory to God and today we celebrate another Saint – Padre Pio who lived out this call fully.”
Thank you for joining us this morning.
