Good morning. We join Kirk in Immaculate Heart of Mary, Kilburn, for today’s morning prayer on Sunday the 2nd of June, the feast of the Holy Body and Blood of Christ.

Kirk reflects on today’s gospel reading:
“Today’s gospel has a lot of very good images, and we could say, of being on life’s journey and entering into the preparation of Jesus’s Last Supper at that famous upper room. It’s the same room where Pentecost took place today. Today’s feast of the Holy Body and Blood of Christ is central to our Catholic faith. For me, what is essential is understanding the essence of the Eucharist and that message of what we eat, how we eat…”
