The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Thursday 1st February 2024

Good morning. We invite you to join our Oblate Family Morning Prayer. We join Kay Curran from the Lourdes Pilgrimage Team, Dublin, for today’s time of prayer on Thursday, February 1st, 2024.
 
Today in Ireland, we celebrate the feast of Saint Brigid, the patroness of Ireland. And to discuss that Scripture speaks to us about love and doing good for others without looking for time. This is something Saint Bridget did in her lifetime. She was renowned for her hospitality, her almsgiving and care of the sick. 

Kay reflects: “Just to go back to Jesus, telling us to love and do good for others. I think all our volunteers on the Lord Pilgrimage team do just that. Every year, when we take care of our assisted pilgrim. And for all pilgrims travelling with us this year, we will do the same thing again.”
