Today, we invite you to join with Sr Anne Petit, a member of the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart in the convent oratory in London for our time of prayer today on June 27th.

Gospel | Matthew 7:21-29
“The wise man built his house on a rock”

Sr Anne reflects on today’s gospel reading:
“Matthew gets to the heart of Jesus’ message; to be a follower of Jesus, our behaviour, our actions, how we live, why we do certain things is very important. The foundation in any building is not seen, but it is the most important part. With proper foundations, a house is safe to weather most storms. Jesus is our foundation.He is the rock on which we need to build our lives. How do we find out God’s will? We will not find our answers on the internet in a book, and maybe not even a church. We will find our answers by listening to Jesus’s words. Not just once, but every single day. We may find the answers in the Gospels. “
