The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Thursday 30th January 2025

Good morning, dear friends. You are very welcome to our Oblate Family Morning Prayer. We join Sr Janet Audu DHS in Wistaston Hall in Crewe for this morning’s time of prayer on Thursday of week 3 in Ordinary Time, January 30th. 

‘A lamp brought in is to be put on a stand. The measure you use, it will be measured to you.’

Sr Janet reflects: “Dear friends, in the gospel reading of today, Jesus speaks about the lamp, which serves as a symbol of a spread of light that enables everyone to see, a light that brings clarity and transparency. The lamp today might represent for us truth, holiness, our spiritual life in Christ, the gospel message.”
