Kirk reflects: “What a powerful scripture reading. I really love to meditate and reflect on that deep question of Jesus, “who do people say the Son of Man is?”. Ironically, it is the central question that underpins the whole of Saint Mark’s Gospel. And it has to do with the very identity of Jesus. And looking at our daily news channels are headlines constantly throws at us a troubled world with new emerging conflicts in the Middle East, wars, deep divisions of hatred causing severe political, social, economic turmoil creating a hell on earth…”
