The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Tuesday 16th July With Pauline Thomas
Today, we join Pauline Thomas from Anglesey for Morning Prayer on Tuesday, 16th July, during the 15th week in ordinary time.
Gospel |

Matthew 11:20-24 |
It will not go as hard with Sodom on Judgement Day as with you
Pauline reflects: “On reading the gospel, I was allotted to pray and reflect on this morning. Looking for some inspiration, I turned to Bible scholar Nicholas King’s reflection on this passage, where he says it is possible one of the problems which Matthew observed in his church was that they had lost their enthusiasm and that he may be using this passage, which is also found in Luke, as a warning to them to receive the message attentively. ”
Thank you for joining us this morning.
