Good morning. Welcome to our Oblate Family Morning Prayer on Monday, January 21st 2025, of week 2 in Ordinary Time. Today we go to St Mary’s Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey where Paige, Molly and Emma from the Secondary Faith in Action Group lead us in our time of prayer this morning.

Gospel | Mark 2:23-28
‘The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath’

Paige reflects: ‘ I want to touch into is how helping each other and people being in need doesn’t stop. It’s not work to help others. So today I want you to think about how even on the day of the Sabbath, we can still help others and fulfill our commandment of rest.’
