Today, we join Veronica Halloran from St Mary Star of the Sea Church in Leith for our Oblate Family Morning Prayer on Tuesday, 30th July, the 17th Week in Ordinary Time.

As the darnel is gathered up and burnt, so it will be at the end of time

Veronica reflects: “As I reflect on this passage, I am aware that everything God makes is perfect. We are all created in the image and likeness of God. Sadly, through the original sin of Adam and Eve, we struggle to remain perfect as the devil is constantly our source of temptation. Just as in the garden, we have to weed the ground constantly.”
