Good morning friends. We invite you to join Sr Margaret in Sacred Heart Parish, Quex Road in Kilburn for today’s morning prayer on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 on the 31st Week in Ordinary time.

‘Not one of those who were invited shall have a taste of my banquet’

Sr Margaret reflects: “This story reflects the invitation God gives us to his kingdom. The initial guests, distracted by their worldly concerns and prioritised their own interests over God’s call. Just as the invited guests had different reasons, reasons to decline the feast, we too can find excuses. Work, family, our past and pursuits that keep us from embracing God’s grace. But God’s invitation is for everyone. The invitation is always open, but the response is up to us.”
