The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Wednesday 15th May 2024

Good morning friends,

We join Fr Martin Moran OMI, moderator of the Inchicore Pastoral Area at the Oblate Lourdes Grotto for today’s prayer once again this morning.

Luke | 1:46-55
My Soul Proclaims the greatness of the Lord

Fr Martin reflects on the words of this gospel reading also known as the Magnificat:
“The Magnificat, Mary’s words there that we’ve just listened to, express something of the depth of Mary’s faith and and the reality of God’s love for her. It captures the power of God working in our lives. And often times, we might think that we are lonely. And often times we do. And yet God does not see us like that. God sees us, each one of us, as his beloved creation, his beautifully created sons and daughters.”
