Friends, we return to Kilburn once more for morning prayer with Johnny Bosco in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, West Kilburn. We remember especially the soul of Fr Paschal Dillon OMI whose funeral mass takes place today in Inchicore.

The God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob is the God of the living

Johnny reflects on today’s gospel reading: “The Sadducees, a small sect of the priestly family known for their conservatism, comes to Jesus to criticize faith in the resurrection in today’s gospel. Like Sadducees, we can go wrong in our belief and action if we don’t trust or believe in the power of God. Personally, I believe the risen Lord is always with me and every day in my life when I encounter difficulties, I always turn to the Lord in prayer. Let us turn to the Lord in prayer for the poor, the needy, and let us also remember our family and the soul of our family members who have died. And for the soul of Father Pascal Dillon.”
