The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Wednesday 7th February 2024

Good morning. We invite you to join our Oblate Family Morning Prayer. We join Fr Martin Moran OMI in  Inchicore, Dublin for today’s time of prayer on Wednesday, February 7th, 2024.  Today is the sixth day of the novena in honour of Our Lady of Lourdes. The Novena is from the 2nd to – the 11th of February, leading to up to Our Lady’s feast day (11th February). You can join in person & online: Mary Immaculate, Inchicore | Sacred Heart, Kilburn | Daily Morning Prayer online & live Mass from Lourdes on Our Lady’s Feast Day, FEB 11th. 

Fr Martin reflects: “I think sometimes we can see that comment of Jesus as being disrespectful to his mother. But Jesus, in saying that, includes all of us as his family. Mary, because of her deep faith, would have recognized that. But we come to our prayer today as Sons of God, as brothers and sisters of Jesus.”
