Good morning. Welcome to our Oblate Family Morning Prayer on Wednesday, January 8th 2025.  Today we join Alexa in London, to lead us in our time of prayer. 

‘They saw him walking on the sea.’

Alexa reflects: ‘Reflecting on these readings, we encounter a powerful story of faith, fear, and divine intervention. Imagine if you were one of the disciples, you’ve never met someone who can walk in water. Who can calm the storm and the wind. And just before that, he turned a few fish and loaves to feed 5000 people. Not to mention all the miracles he’s done healing people, driving demons out of people. Let’s face it: they’re all witnesses, and their minds have blown.  ‘
