Good morning dear friends. We join Angel Agito from the Oblate Parish of Darndale-Belcamp in Dublin on Tuesday, 13th August 2024, the 19th Week in Ordinary Time.

Gospel | Matthew 18:1-5,10,12-14
Anyone who welcomes a little child in my name welcomes me

Angel reflects: “Jesus cares for us individually through our guardian angels. Do I believe that I am personally cared for by God? To believe this is a great gift. We are asked to trust God like little children whose nature it is to trust. In today’s gospel, Jesus confused his disciples. He pointed at the gifts of children. Their innocence, humility and honesty as the mark of true greatness.”
