Video: “Caring for Creation” Workshop with Trócaire in Inchicore Organised by the Oblates JPIC team
Recently the Oblates JPIC (Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation) group held a workshop in Inchicore called “Caring from Creation” which was faciliated by Laura and Jane from @trocaire and focused on Laudato Si’ (“Praise be to you, my Lord”), the encyclical letter by the Holy Father, Pope Francis, on caring for our common home.
Have a look for yourself and see how the day went! Hear about which issues were at the forefront of the discussions, and how the word of Laudato Si’ have inspired so many.
Workshop attendees came from a variety backgrounds; from Oblate parishes in Dublin, from activist groups, from religious communities, from community development groups and also individuals who want to makes a change, share their thoughts, priorities and feedback in this video. It was a wonderful day of conversation, sharing, and hope for the future.
The next workshop will take place in the Oblate Parish of Saint Joseph’s, Colwyn Bay on May 4th, 10am-4pm in St Joseph’s Community Centre, Colwyn Bay.
