Morning Prayer
The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Tuesday 1st August 2023 With Sr Anne Donnelly DHS
Good morning, dear friends and welcome to our morning Prayer. Sr Anne Donnelly DHS, from Wistaston Hall: Oblate Retreat Centre, leads us today in our prayers.
Today’s gospel demonstrates Jesus’s patience when it comes to helping us understand. Jesus is willing to keep teaching the disciples over and over again. He knows they are slow learners of discipleship. And so sometimes are we, because discipleship is heart knowledge we can learn of by heart the words of Jesus, but miss their meaning as they can sometimes have no effect in our lives. Jesus is always willing to explain to the willing heart what he says and who he is.
Please enjoy this time of prayer with us and thank you for joining us today.
