We join Fr Dominik Domagala in St Michael’s Oblate Parish, Inchicore on the 3rd Sunday of Advent, December 11th.
Rejoice in the Lord!

‘Look, I am going to send my messenger before you;
he will prepare your way before you.
‘I tell you solemnly, of all the children born of women, a greater than John the Baptist has never been seen; yet the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he is.’

God often uses poor and simple people to renew in our hearts the longing for the presence of Jesus in our lives. Let’s think this morning who could be like a messenger from God, walking in the footsteps of John the Baptist, who helped us to see Christ – the light in the world around us? Let’s be thankful for them and for the gift of John the Baptist in our own lives.
