Morning Prayer Sunday October 1st Woth Padraig Corcoran
Good morning friends, we invite you to join Pádraig Corcoran for morning prayer and short reflection on this Sunday’s Gospel reading.
Words have to mean something. In today’s gospel, one son that said he would go, and then then didnt go. What did his words mean there for you? The other son that said he wouldn’t go but did go. Again, his word meant very little.
We can look at the words the sons said today. But what good is that if we’re not living them? To go and work in the Vineyard, to say yes to Christ… What good is the word if we forget about it? When we say “Amen”, let us mean it and act on it! We pray for the courage and strength to be true to that word and live it as best as we possibly can.
Thanks for joining us today.
