Camino De Santiago – 2024 Join the Oblate Youth Group this Easter Week
Camino de Santiago 2024
Dates: 31 March (Easter Sunday) – 7 April (Divine Mercy Sunday)
Route: Camino Portuguese last 100km
Cost: €600 approx. (+/- depending on costs of flights / accommodation).

This is a proposed plan and the outline and may be subject to change based on the availability of flights, and numbers traveling in the group. Pilgrims should obtain their own travel insurance and EU health card.
Mass will take place in the Church each evening. With reflections along the way daily and time for personal prayer and penance.
Day 1 Easter Sunday, Departure Dublin to Porto
Take Aerlingus Flight from Dublin Airport arriving late in Porto and spending the night in Porto.
Day 2 Monday, Porto to O Porriño
Breakfast, and take the morning and early afternoon to explore Porto and take advantage of any sights to be been. Monday afternoon we will make our way to our Camino starting Point in O Porriño approx. 100km from Santiago de Compostela.
Day 3 Tuesday, O Porriño – Arcade 22km
Breakfast and start our Camino. We will walk 22k from O Porriño to Arcade. We then check into our accommodation and have dinner.
Day 4 Wednesday, Arcade – Pontevedra 12km
Breakfast and start our Camino. A short day of only 12km to the village of Pontevedra
Day 5 Thursday, Pontevedra – Caldas de Reis 24km
Breakfast and start our Camino. Walking 24km to Caldas de Reis.
Day 6 Friday, Caldas de Reis – Padrón 18km
Breakfast and start our Camino. Walking 18km to Padrón.
Day 7 Saturday, Padrón – Santiago de Compostela 24km
Early Start to arrive in the city by early / mid-afternoon. We will then go to collect our Compostela’s check into our accommodation before attending the Pilgrim mass in the Cathedral, after mass we will visit the Tomb of St James and eat dinner as a group.
Day 8 Sunday, Departure, Santiago de Compostela to Dublin
We will have breakfast and attend mass in St James cathedral. We will then take the rest of the morning and early afternoon to enjoy the historic city before taken Aerlingus flight back to Dublin.
