Good morning, we invite you to join Gary Kiernan in Milltown Malbay, County Clare, for our time of prayer today on Thursday July 11th 2024.

“Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give.”

Gary reflects on today’s gospel reading: “When I was reading the gospel, something struck me about going into the house, being greeted or greeting. Greeting people at their level: come in for a cup of tea, come in for a coffee. Come in for a chat. And I was kind of trying to work out the connection – for me prayer is about nurturing those actions, the values that we have. The value of being non-judgmental. The value of greeting people and saying, “You’re welcome. Maybe it’s only a cup of tea I have to offer you, but that’s what I will offer you.”
