The Canaanite woman debates with Jesus and saves her daughter

Kirk reflects: “Initially, Jesus seems to ignore her and giving her the silent treatment, as Scripture says, ‘But he answered her not a word.’ Then with his disciples pleading and the woman falling to her knees at Jesus feet, showing a sign of her deep faith, and maybe even her desperation, for her daughter’s healing, where formerly no one took notice of her. And we all know kind of what that feels like to be rejected, left on the sidelines, ignored and even abandoned.”
