Good morning, dear friends. You are very welcome to our Oblate Family Morning Prayer. We join Fr Tom in the parish of the Sacred Heart, Kilburn, London for this morning’s time of prayer on Wednesday February 5th. Today we continue the Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes.

‘God chose what is weak in the world.’

Fr Tom reflects: “And in the words of Saint Bernadette, Our Lady said, I do not promise you happiness in this world, but in the next. She was asking Bernadette to be a person of hope, even though she has lived through many situations and with difficult people. And thus praying with her the Rosary, and pointed out to her how we come to a greater understanding of what it means to be a follower of the Lord. “
