Funeral Mass of Jeremiah O’Donovan OMI Streamed Live here
The death has occurred of Jeremiah Donovan OMI.
Fr. Jeremiah Donovan (OMI), Inchicore, Dublin, native of Kilcrohane, Bantry, Co. Cork and a founding member of the Anglo-Irish Province with the OMI Congregation in Brazil has passed away peacefully at Talbot Lodge Nursing Home, Malahide, Co. Dublin on April 26th, 2022, in his 89th year. Very deeply regretted by his brother Peter, sister-in-law Margaret, nieces Jane, Kay, Gerardine, Geraldine, nephew Pat and their families’, grandnieces and grandnephews, his parishioners in Paranaiguara and Uberlândia Brazil where he served from 1962 – 2017, and his many dear friends and colleagues in Brazil and Ireland.
Remains will be received at the Oratory in The House of Retreat, Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore at 5pm on Thursday. Funeral Mass at 11am on Friday, 29th April, and burial afterwards at Inchicore. Family flowers only. A remembrance Mass will be held in Kilcrohane Church on Sunday, May 1st, at 11.30am for family and friends to commemorate Jeremiah’s Life and Ministry.
