Happy Oblates Day! Join Fr Irvin for morning prayer February 17th is the anniversary of the approval of Oblate Constitution and Rules
Today, February 17th, we celebrate “Oblates Day” as we celebrate the pontifical approval of the Oblate Constitution and Rules of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate. Today we pray for our oblate family and mission around the world and especially we pray for an increase in vocations to our religious community. Fr Irvin Morastil OMI, Vocations Director, brings this morning prayer to us from St Mary’s Star of the Sea in Leith, Edinburgh.
“Who do you say that I am?” – Jesus asks the disciples this question in today’s scripture.
The invitation is there for each one of us to ponder this today.
