Join our team: Job vacancy Communications & Digital Officer
Do you have creativity and energy? Are you passionate about engaging with social media as a tool for evangelisation?
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to appoint to the role of Communications & Digital Officer to support the work of the Oblate Community in Ireland and the UK. The role will involve the delivery of proactive and coordinated external digital communications through a range of channels.
Involved in the managing of all our digital channels, the successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and relationship builder with superior organisational skills. They will also be willing to work collaboratively with our internal and external stakeholders to develop innovative and imaginative responses in a rapidly changing communications landscape. They will comfortable working both on an individual level and within a team.
The Missionary Oblates are a Catholic congregation founded by St. Eugene de Mazenod and our chief aim is to work with those on the margins of Church and Society. We are committed to working with our lay partners.
The post will be a three-year fixed term contract that will be subject to review after the end of the contract. The salary scale is £28,000-£33,000 (based on experience and qualifications).
Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, the position will be primarily based in either Dublin or London but will involve travel.
