Mass for Deceased Oblates: 7th November 2020 Please join us in remembering our departed Oblates
Join us at 11.00am
This year, we remember the 15 Oblates who have died over the past 12 months. Sadly, due to Covid 19 we cannot hold the usual celebration of their lives with a public mass. Therefore, we invite you to join with the Oblate Community ONLINE at www.oblates.ie this Saturday morning, November 7th, at 11.00am for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. The mass will also be available on our facebook page and youtube channel.
The service will be presided over by Fr Oliver Barry OMI, Oblate provincial and Fr Liam Griffin OMI, Provincial Administration. Alongside Noreen, Liturgy Team, and Mirella, Sacristan, we will acknowledge, remember and pray for our departed Oblate brothers and thank God for their lives and ministries. Following the mass, we will also have the blessing of the graves in the Oblate Cemetery.
During the ceremony you may also wish to light a candle in your home in remembrance of the men, as Noreen and Mirella light these candles on behalf of the Oblate Community and the families & friends of the late Oblates.
Please join us this Saturday at 11.00am.
May their souls and souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.
Thank you to Mary & Gerry O’Brien for providing the music for this occasion.
