Morning Prayer for December 27th, Feast of St John the Evangelist With Robert Altman
We join Robert Altman in Dublin for this morning’s prayer. Robert works as chaplain in Belvedere College Dublin. We take time this morning to remember what it is that we are grateful for in our lives, particularly during these difficult covid days.
This morning’s reading on Isaiah is very much on theme of protection, safety, comfort and hope. It is very mindful of this challenging time of covid that we stop, we pause, we breathe and we be still and take our mind away from the anxiety and the fears and bring it to gratitude.
What I say to them is; ‘Do not be afraid. I am your Lord and I will keep you safe.’ – Isaiah 44
Thanks for joining us this morning.
