Morning Prayer for December 29th, Commemoration of St Thomas Becket With Alexa Davies in Tower Hill
Friends, good morning and we continue to wish you a happy Christmas! Today’s morning prayer is with Alexa in Tower Hill, London, a member of the Friends of Saint Eugene Group at English Martyrs parish.
Scripture today is very explicit about hate. Hatred has no place in God’s kingdom. With hatred comes unforgiveness, burden and baggage. Alexa reflects on how holding this in our hearts can damage our own selves and those around us. Let’s do our very best to fight for that light and that the light of Jesus does not stop burning in our hearts.
“Anyone who claims to be in the light
but hates his brother
is still in the dark.” – 1 John 2:3-11
Thanks for joining us this morning.
