Morning Prayer for February 25th

Good morning everyone, and welcome to morning prayer, with Sr Anne, from Wistaston Hall Oblate Retreat Centre, in Crewe.

Today’s Gospel reading is from Saint Luke, and is about the time when Jesus invited the tax collector Levi/Matthew to follow him, much to the disapproval of the Pharisees. When Levi is called with love, he responds with love. How often do we notice those who are in need of a kind word or a listening ear? Anne explores the themes of this reading in greater detail.
