Morning Prayer for February 5th – Lourdes Novena: Day 4 With Br Michael Moore OMI
Welcome to morning prayer, with Br Michael Moore OMI, in Wales. Today is also the fourth day of the Lourdes novena.
In today’s Gospel reading, Jesus reminds and challenges us to be the light of the world. Light is one of the great symbols we experience in Lourdes. People light candles for their own – and other people’s – intentions. Thousands of pilgrims carrying their own small candles shine brightly together as the body of Christ. Today, we are called to be people of light. Our light, no matter how small or dim it may seem, is called to shine for others.
Thank you for joining us in prayer today.
