Morning Prayer
Morning Prayer for January 22nd With Kirk and Andrea
Good morning, friends. We invite you to join Kirk, and his sister Andrea, from India.
Today’s reading is from the Gospel of Matthew, and is about the time when Jesus called his first apostles. Jesus chose fishermen as his first apostles, and by the shoreline of the Sea of Galilee. Fittingly, Kirk and Andrea are at a shoreline too, but in Chennai. Andrea also shares a reflection on some of the challenges and darkness people have had to overcome, with the light of Christ illuminating their journey to better days.
Apologies for the audio quality. As fitting as the shoreline is for this reading, it was also a very windy day! Subtitles have been added throughout the video, and whenever possible, to assist listening.
Thank you for watching and praying with us today.
