Morning Prayer: Friday September 17th with Gerard in Westmeath
Good morning friends, we join Gerard Bennett of the Oblate Lourdes Pilgrimage team for morning prayer. Pilgrimage to Lourdes is a unique and sacred experience. As we start our pilgrimage today, let us pray that this digital pilgrimage will touch lives, as happens in Lourdes at the Grotto.
Today’s reading tells us of the women that accompanied Jesus in his ministry and we contemplate and think of all the women who make such a difference in our own lives and the world around us.
“With him went the Twelve, as well as certain women who had been cured of evil spirits and ailments: Mary surnamed the Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out, Joanna the wife of Herod’s steward Chuza, Susanna, and several others who provided for them out of their own resources.” – Luke 8:1-3
Our online Lourdes Pilgrimage begins this evening with our opening service at 7pm in which the Kairos Community Trust in London lead us as we welcome you to our pilgrimage this year. We hope you can join us!
