Oblate Family Morning Prayer – July 3rd With Fr Paul Marx OMI
Good morning and welcome to Morning Prayer with Fr Paul Marx OMI, from Denmark.
Fr Paul is a member of the District of Denmark which, as of 17th of February 2022, has joined the Anglo-Irish Province of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Today, on the feast of Saint Thomas, Apostle, the reading is taken from Ephesians 2:19-22. Where fellow apostle Saint Paul says to the Ephesians “In Christ you are no longer strangers; but citizens like us”. Fr Paul tells us how we are reminded through the reading that we are ‘no longer strangers and sojourners’, in other words, we are friends. We are friends with him walking with Christ through his life. Because Christ himself is one with the Father and the Holy Spirit, and we are one with Him.
Thank you for joining us in prayer today.
