Morning Prayer With the Oblate Family: First Sunday of Advent December 3rd 2023 With Caroline
Good morning all, and welcome to morning prayer on this first Sunday of Advent and of the new liturgical year. We join Caroline in England to pray as a community of faith and hope together and reflect on today’s gospel.
This is the season of preparation. We prepare to greet the Christ Child to welcome him into our world, our homes and our lives. In today’s Gospel, we are encouraged to notice, to prepare the ground for the coming of the Christ Child by being awake and ready in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Many thanks for joining us and have a great day.
