Morning Prayer: October 5th With Fr Tom
Join Fr Tom for our morning prayer together on Monday October 5th. Reflecting on today’s gospel reading of the Good Samaritan, Jesus challenges us to make an effort to help somebody. The Samaritan went out of his way to help the injured man. This is the cost of discipleship, being prepared to put yourself out for another person.
‘Which of these three, do you think, proved himself a neighbour to the man who fell into the brigands‘ hands?’ ‘The one who took pity on him’ he replied. Jesus said to him, ‘Go, and do the same yourself.’
