Morning Prayer Thursday November 19th With Kay Curran
Kay brings you our morning prayer today and reflects on today’s gospel where Jesus weeps when he sees the city of Jerusalem, he was sad because the people did not recognise him or God’s love for them. This give us a glimpse of the humanity of Jesus, and it is comforting to know, in our own moments of sadness that Jesus too, felt pain and hurt.
“As Jesus drew near Jerusalem and came in sight of the city he shed tears over it and said, “If you in your turn had only understood on this day the message of peace!” St.Luke Chapter 19, verses 41 to 44
Thanks for joining us this morning.
