Morning Prayer: Thursday September 9th With Fr Johnson
Good morning friends. Fr Johnson of the Oblate Parishes in Kilburn, London, leads us in our daily morning prayer today, Thursday September 9th.
In today’s gospel, Jesus invites us to love our enemies, and to do good to those who persecute us, pray for those who treat us badly, to give to others without any expectation of getting back. He is calling on us to build on our relationships with each other. He is asking us to write our hurts in the sands and to carve our blessings in stone.
Be compassionate as your Father is compassionate. Do not judge, and you will not be judged yourselves; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned yourselves; grant pardon, and you will be pardoned. – Luke 6:27-38
We thank you for praying with us today.
