Morning Prayer: Wednesday 6th October With David and Iola in Colwyn Bay
We join the Oblate parish of St Joseph’s, Colwyn Bay in North Wales for our morning prayer. Today’s prayer is presented by David and Iola.
Prayer is a personal conversation with God and a means of developing a meaningful relationship with the God of the universe. It is how he can work miracles in our hearts. The disciples are impressed by the fact that Jesus prays, and also want to enter into a relationship with God, so he teaches them how to pray to God the father.
“Once Jesus was in a certain place praying, and when he had finished, one of his disciples said, ‘Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.’” Luke 11:1-4
Thanks for joining the Oblate family morning prayer.
