Morning Prayer with the Oblate Family, August 1st With Christine Hunt
Good morning, everyone! Today, we join Christine Hunt from Holyhead for our morning prayer together.
Today’s Gospel reading is of the feeding of the 5,000. Sometimes we feel as though we have little to offer, or that we cannot make an impact in this world. But, in fact, we can do great things with the little we have to offer. In this reading, Jesus shows how, with something very small – five loaves and two fish – he was able to turn meagre offerings into unimaginable blessings for the world. Let us make the offering of all we are, and all that we have, and leave the transformation of what we do to God.
Thank you for joining us this morning.
