Morning prayer with the Oblate Family, February 26th Today’s prayer with Theresa Codd in England
Good morning friends, we invite you to join with Theresa Codd in Birkenhead, England for morning prayer.
“Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs. I tell you solemnly, anyone who does not welcome the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” Mark 10:13-16
Imagine the scene – children running around, shouting, crying and laughter – quite chaotic. No doubt some of these children will ill, and their parents were desperately trying to get their children to Jesus. Jesus was not vexed. He made time for them. The children felt that they mattered following their encounter with Jesus. Children have two qualities that we should aspire to when it comes to faith – trust and acceptance. We hope today’s reflection on the faith of children helps you in your faith and relationship with God.
Thank you for praying with us today.
