Morning Prayer with the Oblate Family – Friday November 11th With Sr Anne Petit
Good morning and welcome to morning prayer with Sr Anne from London. We appreciate that you are with us, so that we can support one another by praying and reflecting together as a community of faith and hope.
Today’s reading is from the Gospel according to Luke. Jesus is trying to tell us that everything is passing in this life. We are on a pilgrimage back to our heavenly home, and so we shouldn’t be tied down by anything, or anyone, to the detriment of forgetting who we are and where we are bound for. This earthly life will pass away, and so we are not to build our house on the shifting sands of earthly life, but on the rock of God and his plan for us.
Thank you for joining us today!
