Morning Prayer with the Oblate Family Monday 29th August With Pauline on Anglesey
Good morning everyone you are welcome to join Pauline Thomas once more in the Oblate Centre of Mission on the island of Anglesey for this morning’s prayer.
Today is the memorial of the beheading of John the Baptist and our reflection this morning is from the first reading of the memorial.
“Stand up and tell them all I command you; do not be dismayed at their presence” – Jeremiah
This reading speaks of a relationship between the Lord and myself, of what happening with this relationship is founded on faith and trust and speaks to us in two parts: what I have to do, and if I do, what the Lord will do… We hope you enjoy this morning’s reflection.
