Morning prayer with the Oblate Family: Monday June 19th With Fr Dominik
We join Fr Dominik in St Michael’s in Dublin and together with the parish communities in the Inchicore pastoral area in Dublin, wish you a blessed day and thank you for continuing to pray together online each morning.
Today let us see all the crowds listening to Jesus’ teaching as described in the gospel reading. They see that Jesus speaks with power, power not seen before. Today’s Gospel is an occasion to thank the Lord for each one of His words which he gave us power in our daily struggles and light when you felt lost.
Today we can come back to our personal experiences during prayer, when we felt that the Word of God – Sacred Scriptures – spoke to us in a particular way. We can even find those fragments in the Bible and thank the Lord for his help and uplift in those moments.
