Morning Prayer with the Oblate Family: November 18th With Theresa Codd
Friends, you are invited to join us for our Oblate Family morning prayer, today we join with Theresa once more for our prayer on Thursday 18th of November.
Jesus is heartbroken over the faith of the inhabitants of Jerusalem and over their unwillingness to embrace his kingdom message of peace. What things break your heart? What causes you to weep? And difference does all this make to your prayer life, to the way you live? It is good to be aware and be reminded that when we weep, God weeps with us. Love never refuses to enter into the suffering of others.
“As Jesus drew near Jerusalem and came in sight of the city he shed tears over it and said, ‘If you in your turn had only understood on this day the message of peace!” Luke 19:41
Thank you for joining us today.
