Morning Prayer with the Oblate Family: November 19th: With Kirk Jacob
Friends, we join Kirk Jacob in London for our morning prayer.
Visualising the temple, Kirk reflects on the feisty and enraged Jesus, noticing the money changers and sellers exploiting the poor in the temple, and going into full confrontation with temple leaders, some of whom were scandalised by what Jesus said…
Jesus went into the Temple and began driving out those who were selling. ‘According to scripture,’ he said ‘my house will be a house of prayer. But you have turned it into a robbers’ den.’ Luke 19:45-46
Thanks for joining us this morning.
