Morning prayer with the Oblate Family – Sunday October 30th With Fr Lorcan O’Reilly OMI in Crewe
Hello and welcome to our time of prayer and reflection on this Sunday morning. Today we join Fr Lorcan O’Reilly OMI, who is the director of the Oblate Retreat Centre at Wistaston Hall, Crewe on Sunday October 30th.
At this time of year, we can see the colours of Autumn all around us, and there is no doubt that the changing of the seasons is gathering pace.
Autumn is a time for letting go and releasing things that have been a burden. There is so much uncertainty surrounding us all at the moment. We worry about the cost of the crisis, the war in Ukraine and the upcoming winter, among many other things. Yet in the midst of these uncertainties, Autumn invites us to pause and take the time to appreciate what we have and to live each day to its fullest.
Thank you for joining us for our time of prayer this morning.
